A long long long time ago when everyone exhibited at the BEST trade show, IAAPA, manufacturers seemed much more organized. I would receive an email with show prices, or a catalog in the mail with show prices. Now, all I get are a million emails about showing up at these inferior shows, AIR Show, and how I can get free VIP tickets valued at $125. How about sending out an actual catalog like you used to do? Or at least email me a catalog and price list. Or update your website with your new products the day the show starts? I shouldn’t have to look on Facebook to see people posting pictures of new products from the show floor.

I think the only exception to this is Ninja. They still mail out a catalog and price list, as well as, an email the day the show starts with a link to their catalog/pricing.

The rest of you need to step it up. You should want our business. We shouldn’t have to hunt you down because you chose to start some little regional show.

Unique Jumpers acquired Best Jumpers. This may be the reason you did not receive a catalog from them.

Inflatable Depot is still using the same catalog from 2-3 years ago and just adds a supplement.

I agree NJ is great but I do spend a decent amount of money with them. The others I have spent very little or zero. So I can understand why they do not mail them out.

Personally, I would just like their website current with a lot of pictures and a video. I guess I can see why they would wait until after any show as to drive interest in attendance.

I think just keeping their websites up to date would be enough. Printing catalogs is very expensive, and just a waste of money imho.

And not putting a unit that debued 2 years ago as a brand new unit for the current year.

You bring up some good points Bellas. However alot goes into the planning when your a company doing 4 trade shows in under a year (First AIR Show was in Texas last May, Philadelphia in September, Orlando in January, and now Austin Texas in April). Now I know Ninja is involved in all of these shows as well, but they are a much larger company then we are and deservedly so. They have built an awesome brand. This is not to make an excuse but to simply explain that we will simply do the best we can to make our clients not feel that "they have to chase us down". We did post our AIR show pricing under "Hot Deals" and all of our new models are readily viewable on our website. If you ever want information a head of time please feel free to give us a call.

Best Regards

Wow...you earned my respect. When a manufacturer talks highly of another and backs up their brand. Very humble in my eyes.

Happy Jump also wanted to let you guys know that we do read the forum and we do take your opinions and suggestions into consideration. We appreciate you taking the time to discuss issues that are on your mind regarding our industry, and show suggestions. We will try our best to better the process on how we are handling the new air shows and relations with our customers. Regarding the Post by Bellas Bouncies he made some very good points and it couldn’t have been better answer Than HEC’s James response. So I will not go into details regarding that post but I just wanted to inform you that we are listening, and we will be making changes. To make the upcoming Air Shows a pleasant experience for all that are involve. Have a great day

We too at Inflatable 2000 listen, Karla, James and I personally know each other and respect each other. we are competitors however we support eachother and the Industry as a whole, with the influx of manufacturers hitting the American Market, we all want to strengthen our relationships with all of you in the Great U.S.!
We are currently in the process of mailing catalogs to all of our customers, understand this is the cost of doing business and some cannot afford to do this.
Happy Jump and HEC make great products, it can be a personal preference when choosing a manufacturer, I believe in building long term relationships.
Inflatable 2000 started 20 years ago as a Rental Company and truly understand what the end-user expects from our products, we still have a rental division
and test many our our products "out in the field" before release, for any of you who have worked with me know, honesty and integrity are some of my highest values.
If I met you in Orlando, I asked what would you change, what do want to see in the market, how can we (I) improve on my service?, this is important and I listen.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts with you all, I wish all of you a profitable 2013!
