Does anyone know of any easy way to clean and dry tarps? Not so much as what to use (I use Simple Green and it works well) but how to keep it from getting dirty again while it lies drying in the sun on the concrete.

I'd rather clean 3 moonwalks than 1 tarp, anyday! Any tips? Thanks.

Well i myself havent really gotton my tarps to dirty. I would think just to hose it off and let it dry in the sun. What type of dirt are we talking about?

We clean ours on the grass, but then again I have a 1 acre lot so its easy. We spray it down, use a bristle brush broom, and let it dry.

I've also heard of folks hanging it over a clothes line, spraying it down, and letting it dry. Other than that I'm not sure.

Just good 'ole fashioned Texas mud. No, I'm talking about the grainy dust and sand that seems to fix itself to a wet tarp. Maybe I'm just a neat freak..

Ah, if we get a real nasty one we use the pressure washer.

Heavy dew with dirt and sand...yup. We have to rinse ours about 30% of the time.

We hang ours over our 6 foot fence. Rinse with hose and let to dry.

For some reason the grass doesn't like it when you put a tarp on it, in the sun in Florida. (sarcasm people.)

So far never had to clean the tarps too much. When its a little wet, I just let it dry with the grass and all on it, and when its dry, I just sweep if clean.

Never had to do heavy duty cleaning as of yet.

I blow them off with a gas powered blower. If it is muddy, just pressure wash it, lay it out in the yard and flip to dry. :nhl_fight:

I had this problem last year. We had the trap down but the ground wasn't grassie it had a lot of dirt. We were new to this, the kids played so hard. When my bouncer came back I noticed it had rubbed so hard it was burned. I fixed it. Then I wanted to pervent it from happening again, so I got a large size of indoor/ outdoor carpet. We carry the carpet with us in the groung isn't good.
I put the carpet 1st, the tarp 2rd then moonwalk and stake it down. If you have any more ideals please let me know.

I think I'd buy a heavier tarp before I'd carry around an extra piece of carpet. If the ground is that bad, I don't think I would put the bouncer there in the first place. Just my two cents (where is the two cents smilie?)

I am in Detroit and we have a lot vacant lots. We can't see everything my tarp is heavy grade. It can be grassie and gravel under it. The carpet stopped my worries . The burn came on the tarp too.

You might wanna try a13oz vinyl tarp. I did one rental in detroit. They had all kinda rocks on the grass. I took my vinyl tarp out because there was no way I was gonna chance it.
