Does Wal-Mart sell Snow Cone syrup? If so where is it (meaning what products is it next to)?

At ours it is by the housewares area. Usually where they have the seasonal (holiday) plastic cups, plates, and bowls.

Never seen it at Walmart, but IM not exactly the shopping type of guy! tongue.gif

We used to get it from Gm, untill we found GFS carries it, about the same price, but much thicker!

Anyone have good containers to put it in that dont leak? I bought the cheap clear ketchup style containers at walmart, they work okay but do leak occasionally around the neck ..

I use only GM products.....

....only because I'm a full time employee of GM Tampa lmao.

But on all seriousness, Walmart doesn't carry it here. Only kmart does and it's 2.99 for a 16oz bottle. I bought 4 of them then I reuse the 16 oz bottles with GM syrup.
It's 9.73 for a case of 4 gallons of syrup at GM. That's retail price, not my price though.

I am looking at moving to quarts and offering more flavors with pour spouts. I would love to keep the pumps though. The problem is that I don't feel "right" telling the customer to give me back the pump. I kinda feel like I am coming across too cheap to them but those pumps aren't cheap.

I haven't done the math yet as to just buying the quarts and giving them the pour spouts.

I use the GM quarts, and buy my pour spouts in bulk, they run about 40 cents each. The no hassle aspect of handing them 2 different quarts of flavor and two pour spouts is worth it. No messy pumps, no worrying about getting other than the machine back. Widgetco.com has spouts.

We use the Wal-Mart ones. It's about the same cost to give the customer 2 as it is to give them a gallon of the gm juice. For me, the customer likes getting 2 flavors more than 1. And never have I seen a private party finish a gallon of the stuff.

I had a bad experience with the GM in New Orleans. I sent an email to GM Corporate about my experience and recieved a prompt call back. We worked it all out. Good People there at GM. I told them that if there were other distributors providing the right customer service, they would do better in the area. We talked for a while.... I was made an offer........ Paperwork was filed...... I am now the fun food man in my area........

Let me know what you need........ I will see what I can do on the pricing for you.......

GM Dealmaker rofl.gif

I am working on B-Air next. I think I could distribute the crap out of those... I will keep you posted.
